Ellie MacNeil is a Senior Planner in our Cornwall Office, joining Bell Cornwell in 2023.
Ellie has been involved with a vast array of projects and is particularly interested in the coordination, submission and negotiation of residential and commercial developments.
Expertise
Ellie has worked on a variety of proposals varying from barn conversions to dwellings, to affordable-led residential schemes, to community and commercial developments. Ellie values engagement with key stakeholders and specialist consultees and is also an advocate for integrating environmental benefits into schemes from an early stage.
Experience
Ellie has joined Bell Cornwell in our Cornwall Office with over 7 years of experience in the private sector within planning. Ellie has previously worked with global design and engineering companies within town and transport planning, working with multi-disciplinary project teams within Cardiff. In 2021, Ellie returned to Cornwall and worked on various residential and commercial projects with a geographical focus within Cornwall. Ellie is particularly interested in residential development and is keen to be involved in as many affordable-led schemes as she can.
Education
Ellie was awarded a BSc in Human Geography and MSc in Spatial Planning and Development (Distinction) both from Cardiff University. Ellie became a chartered member of the RTPI in 2021.
