Sarah is an Associate planner working in the Buckinghamshire and Hertfordshire offices who joined Bell Cornwell’s team in 2022. Sarah advises clients on a wide range of enquiries and undertakes planning appraisals, applications and appeals on their behalf.
Expertise
Sarah has a proven track record of providing valuable planning advice across the full range of services with considerable experience in development control as well as in enforcement and planning policy. She enjoys helping clients to navigate the complex planning system in order to achieve a successful outcome.
Experience
Sarah has extensive planning experience working in the public sector, including as the Development Management Service Manager at Welwyn Hatfield Borough Council and prior to that at Chiltern District Council and Oxford City Council. Her time in local authority has provided her with a strong foundation of both urban and rural planning issues with particular expertise in dealing with matters in the Green Belt. Before joining Bell Cornwell, Sarah also worked at a multi-sectoral firm which included experience of working on large, strategic projects.
Education
Sarah gained a BA(Hons) degree in Town and Country Planning and a Diploma in Planning both at Oxford Brookes University and has been a chartered member of the Royal Town Planning Institute since 2006.
